File Preparation & Artwork Guidelines
High-quality printing begins with properly prepared artwork. Follow these guidelines before uploading your design or DTF gang sheet to help us produce sharp details, vibrant colors, clean edges, and professional results.
Recommended File Format
For the best results, upload your artwork as a:
-
PNG file with a transparent background
-
300 DPI resolution
-
File created at the exact size you want printed
-
High-resolution image with clean, sharp edges
If your artwork is in another format, contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility.
Use a Transparent Background
Your design should have a fully transparent background unless you want the background printed. White backgrounds inside an image file may be treated as part of the design and could appear in the finished transfer.
Check carefully for:
-
Unwanted white boxes or backgrounds
-
Stray pixels around the design
-
Background-removal marks
-
Faint or semi-transparent edges
-
Unwanted shadows or glow effects
Set the Correct Print Size
Artwork must be sized correctly before submission. Entering a larger print size will not improve a low-resolution image and may make it appear blurry or pixelated.
Please confirm your design’s:
-
Width and height
-
Orientation
-
Resolution
-
Final print size
We will print artwork according to the dimensions selected or provided with the order.
Maintain High Image Quality
For clean DTF printing, avoid:
-
Screenshots
-
Images downloaded from social media
-
Small images enlarged beyond their original size
-
Blurry or pixelated artwork
-
Heavily compressed JPEG files
-
Photos of printed designs
Whenever possible, use the original high-resolution artwork file.
Check Fine Details and Small Text
Extremely thin lines, tiny text, small dots, and narrow gaps may not print or press correctly. Increase the thickness of fine details and make sure all text is large enough to remain readable at the final print size.
Before submitting, review your artwork at 100% of its intended print size.
Convert and Finalize Your Artwork
Before uploading your design:
-
Convert fonts to outlines or shapes when submitting vector artwork
-
Expand strokes and special effects
-
Remove clipping masks and hidden objects
-
Flatten unnecessary layers
-
Ensure all visible elements are included
-
Do not include guides, borders, notes, or measurement marks
Do not mirror your artwork unless the product instructions specifically request it.
Gang Sheet Preparation
When preparing a custom DTF gang sheet:
-
Use the exact gang sheet dimensions purchased
-
Keep every design inside the printable area
-
Leave approximately 0.25 inch of space between designs
-
Do not overlap artwork
-
Arrange designs efficiently to reduce unused space
-
Remove all unwanted backgrounds
-
Confirm the size of every design before uploading
Gang sheets are generally printed exactly as submitted, so please inspect the entire layout carefully.
Color Disclaimer
Colors may look different across phones, monitors, and printed materials. Screen brightness, display settings, fabric color, and artwork color profiles can affect the final appearance. Exact screen-to-print color matching cannot always be guaranteed.
For the most predictable results, use consistent color values and avoid relying on very subtle color differences.
Artwork Responsibility
Customers are responsible for submitting correctly sized, print-ready artwork and confirming that all spelling, colors, dimensions, and design elements are accurate. DYKore Impressions is not responsible for errors already present in customer-supplied files.
By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the design or have permission to reproduce it.
